HR Generalist

JOB STATEMENT

The HR Generalist supports recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, privileging, HRIS, and compliance to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Communicates HR policies and responds to employee inquiries. 
  • Support employee relations and workplace concerns.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and organizational standards.
  • Coordinates recruitment, onboarding, and separation processes.  
  • Administers benefits and leave management (FMLA, ADA, LOA, Worker's Comp).
  • Reviews and audits payroll changes, timecards, and HRIS records. 
  • Assist with credentialing, provider enrollment, and compliance reporting.
  • Prepares employment documents and manages badge/security access. 
  • Assist with training, HR reporting, and compliance metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Preferred. 
  • Specialized Training/Certifications: PHR/SHRM-CP, a plus. 
  • Experience:
    • 4+ Years of HR experience; healthcare/FQHC experience a plus
  • Knowledge:
    • Employment Laws (ADA, Title VII, ADEA, IRCA, FMLA);
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
    • Ability to lift 10lbs. unassisted.
  • Other:
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between clinic sites.
    • Must maintain required immunizations in accordance with organizational policy.
